We are building an integrated digital ecosystem designed around the everyday needs of university students.

From discovering accommodation and exploring shared housing arrangements to shopping for essentials and connecting with people, Uniilo brings important parts of student life together in one place.

Our goal is to reduce the unnecessary difficulties students face so they can spend more time focusing on the experiences that matter.

We are beginning our journey in Nigeria, with a long-term vision to serve students and university communities worldwide.

To make campus life effortless by helping students find accommodation, access everyday essentials, connect with people, and navigate university life through one convenient, student-centered platform.

University life is made up of ordinary decisions that carry unusual weight: where to live, what to buy, whom to trust, and who to ask for help. Students often make those decisions with incomplete information, limited money, and very little room for a costly mistake.

Our vision

To pioneer a global student-life platform that transforms how students live, connect, access opportunities, and experience campus life, making university life easier, more connected, and more rewarding for students everywhere.

The need starts with a room. It does not end there. Once a student has somewhere to live, they still need things to put in it, people to share it with, and a way to stay connected to the campus they now belong to.

A school is marked live only when students there can use Uniilo today. Anyone can create an account anywhere. List a property to bring supply to a campus.

How verification works

Verification is the centre of what we promise, so it is worth saying exactly what it means. A room is published on Uniilo only after its property has been checked in four areas: the property exists, the person advertising it can offer it, the details and the price are true, and it is available with a date set to check again. We record who made each check, when, and when it is due again, so 'when was this room last checked' has an answer. Rooms published before this standard existed do not carry a verified badge until they have been re-checked, and a room that has not been checked is never shown with one.

1. The property exists — We confirm the physical location, and the photographs are of the actual place — not a stock image or a different house.
2. The person can offer it — We check who is advertising the space and whether they are the owner or an authorised representative.
3. The details and the price are true — Rent, required fees, room type, facilities and availability are confirmed before the listing goes live.
4. It stays current — Listings are reviewed on a schedule, and a room that has already been taken is marked unavailable instead of staying up to attract enquiries.

Verification is based on documented checks made before publication. It does not guarantee a landlord's future conduct, and it is not a claim that a room is safe or affordable — those are separate questions with their own evidence. Always review the listing terms and confirm availability before paying.

Uniilo is built for university students, and also works with property owners and vendors who serve them. Students can create an account, browse accommodation near their campus, use Split Rent, shop, and join Connect. Uniilo is starting in Nigeria and is rolling out location by location.

What is Uniilo Housing?

Uniilo Housing helps students discover and explore accommodation around their universities, compare available options, and access useful property information. A room is published only after its property has passed Uniilo's verification checks, and the process is explained at uniilo.com/about#how-we-verify.

What is Split Rent?

Split Rent helps students explore shared accommodation, find potential housemates, and coordinate student-to-student housing arrangements. Students can share the cost of a place with compatible housemates, or find someone who needs a roommate.

What is Uniilo Shop?

Uniilo Shop helps students discover products and services relevant to campus life, from textbooks and electronics to furniture and other everyday essentials. Supply is growing vendor by vendor and campus by campus, so what is available depends on where you are.

What is Uniilo Connect?

Uniilo Connect is a student-centered communication experience where students can meet people, build relationships, participate in communities, and communicate more easily. It is being built in stages and is not yet a complete social network.

Where is Uniilo based?

Uniilo is developed and operated by Uniilo Technologies Limited in Nigeria. The platform launches campus by campus and location by location rather than claiming coverage it does not have.

Is Uniilo available outside Nigeria?

Not yet. Uniilo is starting in Nigeria, and that is our starting point rather than the boundary of our vision. Our long-term ambition is a global student-life platform, adapted to the needs of different universities, communities, and countries around the world.

How can students join Uniilo?

Create a free account on uniilo.com, choose your university, and start exploring. You can browse accommodation, use Split Rent, shop for campus essentials, and join Connect. Creating an account is all that is needed to begin.

How can property owners work with Uniilo?

Property owners, landlords and agents can list a property through the Become a Host page at uniilo.com/become-host. Listings go through Uniilo's verification process before they are published.
